Cassy Polanski

Physical Therapist / Team Lead

Cassy received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas in 2016. Prior to that, she spent 5 years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Human Resources Officer, spending time in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Cassy has experience in acute care, early intervention, and outpatient settings. She has focused on pediatric therapy since graduating, and has experience with torticollis/plagiocephaly, toe-walking, physical and neurological disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, and developmental delays. Cassy enjoys working with children of all ages, and especially loves helping teach infants how to roll, crawl and walk. In her free time, Cassy enjoys playing with her two young children, cooking, going on walks, and binge-watching TV shows.

Courtney Abbott

Physical Therapist

Courtney received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in 2013. Upon graduation, Courtney spent some time exploring the country as a travel PT, working in SNFs, home health, and rehabilitation centers. Courtney has lived in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New York, Dallas, Arizona, and California prior to being placed in Austin and falling in love with the city. Courtney has had a variety of physical therapy experiences, but she prefers working with patients with neurological disorders and children. Courtney loves to work with children of all ages to help them learn to move and play to the best of their abilities. Courtney loves spending time in the outdoors, hiking, running, and taking her dog Bronco to go explore new places. Courtney and Nathan also spend time playing softball and volleyball in weekly leagues with their friends.

Hannah Waddell

Physical Therapy Assistant

Hannah received her associates degree as a physical therapist assistant in May of 2019 at Blinn College.  She went straight into working as a pediatric home health PTA in the Dallas area for 2 years before moving to Austin. She has gained experiences working with a wide range of conditions such as; Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome,
Autism spectrum disorders, amputees, Noonan’s syndrome, Leukemia, Muscular Dystrophy/SMA, Erbs Palsy, Bell’s Palsy, spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma, Encephalopathy, renal dysplasia, Ohtahara syndrome, Hydrocephalus, Cleft lip/palate, Torticollis, and developmental delays. She loves incorporating music, dance, and sports into her therapy sessions to incorporate each of her kiddos special interests. In her free time, Hannah enjoys being outside, working out, playing soccer, and working with animals. 

Katie Riley

Physical Therapy Assistant

Katie received her Physical Therapist Assistant license from Austin Community College in 2023. Born and raised in Austin, she moved to Dallas after high school where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art & Performance for dance in 2017. Injury stopped her dance career, which led to finding her new passion in physical therapy. Katie has experience in sports medicine and inpatient rehab, and discovered her love of pediatric physical therapy as a student in a clinical rotation here at OTC in the spring of 2023! Katie loves working with kids and teaching them how strong and capable their bodies can be. In her free time, Katie loves to read, do arts and crafts, go hiking, bake cookies, and hang out with her husband, Thomas.
