Cassy Polanski
she/her

Physical Therapist / Team Lead / Therapy Team Supervisor

Cassy earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas, in 2016. Before becoming a physical therapist, she spent five years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Human Resources Officer, including time in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
With 10 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy, Cassy helps children build the strength, coordination, and confidence they need to reach their milestones. She has experience working with children with neurological conditions, developmental delays, and sensory needs. Cassy especially enjoys working with little ones as they learn to roll, crawl, walk, and explore the world around them.
Outside of work, Cassy enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, cooking, and going for walks. When she’s not chasing after her kids, Cassy loves getting lost in a good book.

Courtney Abbott

Physical Therapist

Courtney received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in 2013. Upon graduation, Courtney spent some time exploring the country as a travel PT, working in SNFs, home health, and rehabilitation centers. Courtney has lived in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New York, Dallas, Arizona, and California prior to being placed in Austin and falling in love with the city. Courtney has had a variety of physical therapy experiences, but she prefers working with patients with neurological disorders and children. Courtney loves to work with children of all ages to help them learn to move and play to the best of their abilities. Courtney loves spending time in the outdoors, hiking, running, and taking her dog Bronco to go explore new places. Courtney and Nathan also spend time playing softball and volleyball in weekly leagues with their friends.

Caitlan Aker she/her

Physical Therapy Assistant

Caitlan received her PTA license from Austin Community College in 2024. Born in Germany and raised between Oklahoma and Texas, she attended Texas State University where she graduated with her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, specializing in juvenile probation and victim services. Her career ended up taking her far away from that path into the tech industry for 4 years when she decided it was time to pursue a worthwhile career in health care. Caitlan has experience in acute, out patient orthopedic, and pediatric care with certifications in both intramuscular dry needling and spinal manipulation. Caitlan was a student with OT Connection and is excited to dive full time into the pediatric world to help kiddos reach their full functional potential!
