Lacy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has 8 years of experience in the field of Pediatric Occupational Therapy in the outpatient setting. She practiced initially in TX for 1 year before relocating to PA where she worked at an outpatient pediatric clinic for over 6 years. She is now excited to be back in her home state (with warmer weather)! She has experience working with children with a variety of diagnosis’s including: Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury, and developmental delays in gross and fine motor skills.
Lacy has a strong interest in continuing to develop her knowledge in specialized areas specifically related to Autism, sensory integration, and feeding interventions. She has received post-graduate certification for the administration & interpretation of the Sensory Integration & Praxis Test, SIPT Certification #4017. She has received education and has experience utilizing the DIR/Floortime approach, oral sensory/motor feeding interventions, and Bal-A-Vis-X. In her spare time Lacy enjoys spending time with her husband and son, staying active, and spending time outdoors with her energetic dog, Trypsin.
