She has worked with students who have a variety of disorders including receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation/phonology disorders, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, visual and hearing impairments, as well as complex communication needs. Kate served as a member of the autism diagnostic team and the assistive technology for her district. Additionally, she worked with students who were part of the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf.

During her free time, Kate enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, trying out new restaurants, traveling, and trying to get her dog Lady to pose for pictures.
