Jordan is a native Texan that completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with highest honors. She received her graduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Jordan currently holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the State of Texas to practice speech-language therapy. Jordan has experience providing speech and language assessment and intervention for pediatrics (toddlers, children, and adolescence) in the school, home health, and private settings. She has experience working with those who have language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorder, pragmatic (social) language disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs, Down syndrome, fluency disorders, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and ADHD. Jordan also has experience working with adult clients providing cognitive and language therapy post stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI). During her free time, she enjoys hiking, working out, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family including her chocolate lab!
