Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She recently relocated from her hometown of San Jose, California where she earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. Over the past six years, she has gained experience in working with children with developmental disabilities through a variety of roles including ABA therapist, social skills facilitator, and preschool teacher for children with special needs. Through these different roles, she gained an appreciation for the diverse needs of the population renewing her dedication to serve them. Jessica completed one of her clinical internships at an outpatient pediatric clinic specializing in sensory integration where she had the opportunity to evaluate, plan, and implement occupational therapy to children with sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, and motor coordination difficulties. She is passionate about helping children and their families adapt to life’s challenges in order to live more meaningful and functional lives. Jessica is excited for the opportunity to deepen her knowledge and skills in pediatrics and sensory integration here at OT Connection. In her spare time, she enjoys doing yoga, reading, and hiking.
