Emily received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Texas in Austin. She recently graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch’s Occupational Therapy Masters program in Galveston. Her previous clinical experiences include completing one rotation in an acute care setting and another in a outpatient pediatric clinic which specialized in sensory integration. She has had experiences working with children with sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delays. Emily is familiar with OT Connection as she volunteered here while applying for occupational therapy school, and is excited that her journey to being an occupational therapist has come full circle. She enjoys playing volleyball, doing any kind of water sport, and playing her ukulele.
