Olivia Joiner

Speech and Language Pathologist, Team Lead
Therapy Team Liaison

Born in Texas and raised in North Carolina, Olivia completed her Bachelor’s degree at North Carolina State University and her Master’s degree at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, with a focus on working with individuals with Autism. Prior to joining the OTC team, Olivia resided just outside Baltimore, MD, where she worked for over 5 years as a speech-language pathologist in a private practice, focusing her experience on working with kids with Autism, Apraxia, executive functioning challenges, and receptive and expressive language challenges. Olivia has completed PROMPT Introduction and Bridging courses, as well as continuing education coursework in Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking Curriculum. When she’s not playing with kids at OTC, you can find Olivia playing outside with her dogs, exploring Austin with her husband, and crafting all sorts of things!

Robin Selman

Speech and Language Pathologist, Feeding Therapist

Robin is originally from Pflugerville and recently moved back to the area. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas before moving to Georgia to earn her Master’s at The University of Georgia in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Robin currently holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the state of Texas to practice Speech Language Pathology. She spent 3 years as a Speech Language Pathologist in an elementary school before moving to a private practice in 2015. Robin has been trained in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol to address deficits in oral functioning. In addition, she is a certified LAMP Words for Life partner. She has experience working with a variety of diagnoses including articulation disorders, apraxia, feeding problem, receptive/expressive language delays, Autism, Down Syndrome, genetic disorders, Dandy-Walker syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and more. She is passionate about finding ways to include families in therapy to make functional gains in daily life. In her free time, Robin enjoys crafting, gardening, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Maria Ciaccio

Speech and Language Pathologist

Maria is from New Orleans, Louisiana, but she recently moved to Austin. She is completing her Clinical Fellowship Year for Speech Pathology and is looking forward to receiving her full license soon! Maria received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Louisiana State University. Maria has worked with various populations and has experience working with expressive/receptive language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, pragmatic language skills, articulation disorders, fluency, and more. Maria enjoys getting to know Austin in her free time by exploring the city and finding trendy restaurants and sights. She also loves spending time with friends and family, traveling, and crafting. 

Jennifer Zambie

Speech and Language Pathologist

Jennifer is an Austin native who has been a part of the OTC team since June 2018. She received both her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. Jennifer currently holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the state of Texas to practice Speech Language Pathology. She has experience with all ages but has primarily worked with pediatrics ages 0-18 years. Jennifer has worked with various diagnosis including receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation/phonology disorders, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and dyslexia. Her areas of interest include American Sign Language (ASL), language and literacy and early intervention

Amy Opersteny

Speech and Language Pathologist

Amy was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and has recently moved to Austin. She is currently completing her Clinical Fellowship Year with us and is so excited to begin her career as an SLP! She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. Amy has experience working with various populations including the Deaf/Hard of Hearing community, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, expressive/receptive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, pediatric feeding disorders, and many more. In her free time, she likes to cook, paint, and try new restaurants with friends. Amy is excited to explore the city of Austin and make new memories here!

Anna Sansalone

Speech and Language Pathologist

Originally from Florida, Anna has called Austin home since 2020. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her Master’s degree from Baylor University. Anna is currently completing her Clinical Fellowship in Speech-Language Pathology and is excited to be back at OT Connection after participating in a clinical rotation here as a student! She has experience with various diagnoses, including receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and fluency disorders. In her free time, Anna enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends, family, and two cats.
