Pediatric speech and language services support and facilitate the attainment of oral motor strength, coordination and control (i.e. apraxia/dysarthria); feeding skills; the development of speech, articulation skills, communication skills; receptive and expressive language; social pragmatics and communication; and development of augmentative communication systems.
OT Connection provides Speech Therapy for children from birth to 15 years of age. We offer intervention programs for the treatment of speech, language, fluency, behavior and social disorders at all levels of severity. We assess each child's strengths and areas of concern using parent interview, formal testing, and unstructured play and conversation. Our staff meets with the parents, family members and other involved care-givers to set realistic goals and objectives and plan for therapy.
We understand that often one therapy approach does not work for every child. At OT Connection, our therapists create an individualized therapy program and unique treatment approach for each child.
