OT Connection is a pediatric therapy center located in Pflugerville, TX that provides Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy for special needs children. Founded in October of 2005, OT Connection provides cutting edge comprehensive therapy services in one state-of-the-art location. Ours is a small, caring practice that is family oriented, and our goal is to offer every patient pediatric care that is crafted specifically for their needs using the most progressive therapy equipment and techniques available.

Our team of 20 certified Pediatric Therapy Specialists and their supporting staff are dedicated to giving our patients successful personalized care using the most progressive methods possible, walking each patient and their family through the process every step of the way. In November of 2009, we opened our brand new "green" facility located in Pflugerville, TX.

FACILITY

OT CONNECTION is proud to announce the opening of their new “green” facility in November 2009. The design and building of this facility were thoughtfully considered and planned for over 2 years before our grand opening!

The new developmental center features noise reduction systems to minimize distractions between treatment rooms and in hallways. A unique air filtration system provides fresh, purified air for all of our patients suffering from respiratory disorders and just general environmental allergens. The award-winning Infinity Air Purifier doesn't just filter air, it captures and kills airborne pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and mold. This whole building air cleaner re-purifies indoor air as many as 8 times an hour and is continually pumping in fresh, outside air.

Lighting was a huge priority at our new center. The use of natural light is emphasized in nearly every room, with an abundance of windows located high on the walls to minimize distractions, yet flood the rooms with so much natural light, that frequently no lighting is required during the day. There is also no fluorescent lighting used throughout.

Low VOC paints and other eco-friendly building products were utilized to minimize chemical respiratory allergens.

A unique adapted playground, featuring over 6000 square feet of therapeutic space is a highlight of the facility. This outdoor area features a planting and gardening spot, adapted balance beams, monkey bars, moveable walking bridge, 1200sf concrete area for bike and tricycle training, and much, much more.
